Part-Time Warehouse Assistant
The Furniture Mission is seeking a dependable and team-oriented Part-Time Warehouse Assistant to support daily operations and help us continue making houses into homes for families in need. This role works closely with the Warehouse Manager and Operations Director to ensure the warehouse runs efficiently, safely, and with excellence. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with receiving, unloading, and organizing donated furniture and household items
- Help prepare and load furniture for client pickups and deliveries
- Maintain cleanliness and organization across all warehouse areas (wood shop, paint room, home décor, linens, etc.)
- Support basic furniture prep, including cleaning and minor repairs
- Assist in keeping trucks clean and ready for daily use
- Engage with donors and volunteers in a welcoming, mission-driven manner
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift and move furniture (50+ lbs)
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Team player with good communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
Schedule:
- Part-time hours (flexible; may include weekdays and occasional Saturdays)
