The Furniture Mission is in need of Volunteers to pick up and deliver furniture. We need volunteers to sign up for a shift on a regular basis or to be put on a sub list. A shift is approx. a three hour commitment on weekday afternoons. This is a desperate call for help!

Our Purpose Statement
As a non-profit, non-denominational community organization of volunteers, our purpose is to share the love of Christ through the acceptance and distribution of "gently used" furniture to those in need.
Our ministry is to give families and individuals the basic furnishings needed to make a house into home. Too often we are hearing of children sleeping on the floor with cardboard for a bed or blankets on the floor being used as a table to eat a meal.
We collect donations of "gently used furniture" from the community and than distribute the furniture to those in need free of charge. We distribute this furniture on a referral system. Everyone who receives furniture must be referred to us by other social service agencies, missions, churches, schools, and hospitals. In this way, we know that those receiving furniture have been accessed by someone else and are truly in need.
